Belly Mapping with Gail Tully, CPM, CD(DONA)
For parents, soon-to-be-parents, birth practitioners, childbirth educators, midwives
$10 per person
“Belly Mapping is a way that a mother can tell for herself what her baby's position is--during the last month or two of pregnancy. Too often, the posterior (sunny-side up) baby isn't identified until labor is troubled. Mothers ask, sometimes after the cesarean for a long, OP labor, ‘Why didn't anybody know? Can't the nurse or doctor tell when doing an exam?’ Medical studies compare ultrasound imagining with vaginal exams by nurses and doctors. Trying to feel with the fingers which way a baby’s head was directed was not possible 60% of the time in the first stage of labor and 30% of the time in the second stage. Fortunately, other clues exist.”—from www.SpinningBabies.com

Pre-Registration:
Please pre-register if you plan to attend a CMA conference. If you are on-call and have clients due around the time of the conference, please notify the CMA of your intention to attend. Then pay at the door. In some cases a $25 non-refundable deposit will be required.
Refunds for conferences:
Refunds can be given if requested up to 48 hours before the conference date. Refunds requested within two days of the conference may be granted at the discretion of the CMA Board of Directors. No refunds will be given for payments received during the conference.
Returned checks:
A $20 fee will be charged for any returned check.
Babies and children at conferences:
Nursing babes in arms may come with mothers to our conferences. We ask that mothers be respectful of the need for others to hear what is being said and go to another room if baby is making noise. Most conferences are not suitable for young children. If you would like information on resources for childcare, please contact the conference coordinator. If a minimum of 2 people express a need for childcare, the Conference Coordinator may, at her discretion, offer to help arrange for a babysitter to be present. Babysitting fees will be paid by attendees.
