Colorado Midwives Association Skills Workshop
Wednesday, August 9th, 8 am- 5 pm
This class will meet DORA’s requirement for an 8-hour, MEAC accredited course in order to obtain suturing authority for practicing midwives. Students may with to take the course for educational purposes, but we cannot guarantee that this will be accepted by DORA at the time an individual applies for registration.
- Needle holder (about 6-8 inches in length is optimal size)
- Suture and/or tissue forceps
Potluck Lunch–bring a dish to share!

You must enroll in the NRP class, please look for Colorado Midwives Association NRP at Berkeley Community Church on August 10 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m at the link below.
Students must take all 11 online exams before attending the skills session.

IV Skills Certification
This course includes 5 hours of online instruction to be taken before the skills workshop. Completing the full 8-hour course will fulfill DORA’s requirements for IV authority.
There is a $50 discount for people taking all three sessions. Be sure to choose the option for “All three sessions with $50 discount.”
People staying for both Thursday sessions should plan on bringing a brown bag lunch.
